It is not too late to help with National Spring Clean 2010

With the first three weeks of March behind us, and less than two weeks to go until National Spring Clean 2010 gets under way, Keep Scotland Tidy is issuing a further appeal for volunteers annoyed by litter to sign up for Scotland’s biggest volunteer attack on litter. Registration for the annual month long blitz on litter has already exceeded expectations with more than 57,000 volunteers committed to pulling on their bright yellow spring clean tabards at 839 clean up events across Scotland during April. To ensure that groups receive their free clean up kits Keep Scotland Tidy is now calling for more registrations before National Spring Clean month starts.
