Monday 25th June 2012 12:13 pm

NSC 2012 Photo Comp winnerNational Spring Clean 2012 has drawn to a close and we would like to say a big thank you to all those groups who submitted their feedback and photos from their events – being mainly stuck in the office coordinating the whole campaign, it is really great for us to see all the hard work that has gone on, keeping your areas of Scotland beautiful. And we can now announce the winners of the feedback prize draw and also the photo competition.

Grampian Housing Association in Aberdeen who organised a clean up with tenants, and Oxgangs Primary in Edinburgh who held a clean up of their school grounds with 80 children and parents, have both won £100 worth of eco-vouchers from <<114>> after being drawn at random from the 158 feedback reports we received – we look forward to hearing how they spend these!
Greggs not only provided free treats to groups who took part in National Spring Clean, they also selected the best two photos sent in and provided two digital cameras as prizes. The winners of the photo competition were: Jewel & Esk College who cleaned up Portobello Beach with Portobello High School – their photo included high school children and college students on the beach (visit our facebook page to see the photo), proving that youngsters do care about our environment; and Craigie Playgroup in Perth for their cute photo which is shown.
Well done to all winners and to everyone who took part in National Spring Clean this year.
Don’t’ forget that we have a free clean up kit for anyone wanting to carry out a litter pick at any point throughout the year – order here: <<59>>.
