We are fortunate, in Scotland, to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. That is why dumped waste has such a negative impact.
Keep Scotland Tidy, a programme of Keep Scotland Beautiful, runs the Dumb Dumpers campaign - a one-stop shop for anyone concerned about flytipping in their local area. www.dumbdumpers.org has dedicated information for members of the public and land managers about who to contact about a fly-tipping incident, what to report, and an online report form. The website also provides information and guidance for enforcement officers and shares good practice.
Dumb Dumpers was launched by Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2004, on behalf of the Scottish Flytipping Forum: all of the key stakeholders who are affected by flytipping and the organisations responsible for the investigation and disposal of many flytipping incidents
