Clean Up Kit
Order CleanUp Kit - Taking part in a litter pick or clean up can be a great team-building exercise for any group, whether they are from an established organisation or a group of individuals getting together for the first time, with everyone getting out into the fresh air and working towards a common goal.
A voluntary clean up demonstrates a shared interest in their local environment and a willingness to take action to improve it.
Keep Scotland Tidy's FREE Clean Up Kit is available all year round to help schools, communities, businesses and other volunteers to clean up their local areas.
The kits contain all you need to organise and carry out a successful clean up of your neighbourhood, school grounds or local parkland.
The Clean Up Kit contains:
- A "Contact Details" list, so that you know who to notify at your local council about the event, and what services they can provide
- An "Organising a Clean Up" booklet, to help organise your activities
- An A3 poster to promote your event
- Protective tabards for participants *
- A supply of black bin bags for litter and clear bags for recyclables *
- "I'm helping to Keep Scotland Tidy" stickers for children.
* Tabards and bin bags are made from recycled plastic but please help to reduce waste by reusing the tabards as many times as you can before disposing of them.
National Spring Clean
Alternatively, by organising a clean up during the month of April, you can take part in Keep Scotland Tidy's National Spring Clean campaign and have your litter pick plotted on the map of events.
